Helen Haley Gruich, age 91, died August 7, 2011. She was married to Donald Jack Malaney and Peter Gruich, both deceased. She retired as a draftsman at the Ford Tractor plant in Troy. She lived in Ferndale, Livonia and Warren before moving to Farmington Hills in 1995. She was a member of the Celtic Cross Presbyterian Church, Warren, Mich. Mrs. Gruich is survived by a daughter, Jacquelyn A. (Michael J) Davis, Indianapolis; sons Dennis B. (Amy Dolan) Malaney, Farmington Hills; Peter T. (Annemarie Kennedy) Gruich, Sterling Heights, Mich., and Daniel J. Gruich, Tacoma, Wash.; six grandchildren, Melissa Robinson, Warren, Mich, G. Michael Wm. (Kimberley Jackson) Davis, Carmel, Ind., M. Kathryn E. Davis, Indianapolis, Mary Helen Malaney, Patricia J. Malaney and Margaret C. Malaney, Farmington Hills; two step-grandchildren, Laura A. Davis, and Sean P. Davis; three great-grandchildren, William LaFave, J. Morgan Davis and Michael P. Davis. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her brother William Haley, and sons, Michael R. Malaney and Allan A. Gruich. Visitation Tuesday, 2-8 p.m. Final disposition will be in Green Park Cemetery, Portland, Ind. Funeral Service Wednesday, 10 a.m. at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, 23720 Farmington Road, (btw. 9-10 Mile Roads, just N of Grand River), downtown Farmington (248-474-5200).
