"Don't worry about a thing, because every little thing is going to be alright." ~ Tyler Kasin ~ From the 2007 Yearbook Dedication Page.
Kasin, Tyler Jon age 13, of St. Louis Park, peacefully in his sleep on July 9, 2007 at his favorite place, Bay Cliff Health Camp in Big Bay, Michigan. Preceded in death by great grandparents, Howard Ladwig, Lillie Kasin, Lyle and Dorothy Vanseth, Patsy Hildebrandt and George Carswell. Survived by mother, Tonja and stepfather, Jim Younger; father, Dan Kasin; brother, Zachary Kasin; sister, Zoe Younger; grandparents, Micheal and Nancy Carswell, Dennis and Linda Kasin; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends. Tyler had a smile that could light up a room and a personality to match. He charmed every person who got to know him - first to notice a new haircut, a pretty new dress, or the smallest detail and was always quick to compliment. Tyler loved music, school, being a member of the school choir, swimming, bowling league and skiing with the Courage Center group. He had graduated from the sixth grade at the Susan Lindgren School. Family would like to thank his many teachers, counselors, doctors, nurses, bus drivers, therapists, aids and caregivers who helped Tyler all through his life. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Courage Center Alpine Ski Club, 3915 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley, MN 55422. Tyler was our sunshine! Interment Grand-View Cemetery.
