Greetings from Bay Cliff Health Camp!
We are pleased to announce the Bay Cliff 2012 Campership Appeal. We hope you will join us in this very important "call for help".
In recent years, and especially during these very difficult financial times, donations for the children's program have not kept up with expenses. In response, we have eliminated one full time and six summer staff postions, and reduced other facility and program expenses. This year, without a substantial increase in donations, we are fearful of facing a financial deficit of over $120,000. We are asking for your help to address this critical need for funding.
The Campership Appeal has been established to secure funding for every child with disability coming to Bay Cliff’s summer therapy program. All donations to the Appeal will be used to provide therapy, medical and dental care, food and lodging, camp activities and loving care for the children. This summer, 160 children from across the Upper Peninsula and beyond are being served by Bay Cliff. Securing adequate and stable funding to care for the children is our most important financial priority!
