Adult campers from our Camp Independence program get a chance to reconnect during Winter Blast. During this winter weekend of fun, campers have an opportunity to enjoy ice fishing and a Bay Cliff-style curling tournament. No matter how cold it gets outside, it's always warm inside by the Big House fireplace with plenty of activities including arts and crafts, card games, puzzles and more!
Campers, like "Gunny" Peterson (see photo left), are excited to have some winter fun and see friends from Camp Independence. “I just love it at Bay Cliff! It’s my second home and when I’m there I never want to leave. Everyone is so positive and the food is the best ever. I count the days until I can get there again!” Read all about Winter Blast 2013 here.
Dates for Winter Blast 2014 will be set later this year.

Keven's northern pike coming in at 11 pounds 36 inches is the record to beat!
He landed this one off the tip-up on Lake Independence in 2008.
